E-ARABIC ENGLISH POCKET DICTIONARY (E-CORY) BASED ON THEMATIC SYMBOLIC ART TO INCREASE ARABIC VOCABULARY MASTERY IN ISLAMIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Abstract
ABSTRACT: Learning media is a priority for the implementation of online learning. supported by many online learning applications which are now applications for distance learning needs, making learning faster and easier to do without being limited by space and time. In learning a foreign language, including Arabic, it requires the learner to master a lot of vocabulary. However, in fact, from various studies conducted by the University of Indonesia, it shows that vocabulary problems are still often found in learning Arabic, especially for students of Islamic Elementary School. So it is not enough just one book as a learning resource, but it takes supporting learning media as to minimize these problems. A dictionary is a book that contains selected vocabulary which is generally arranged in alphabetical order accompanied by an explanation of its meaning which also plays a major role in supporting the existence of student textbooks in foreign language learning. E-Arabic English Pocket Dictionary (E-CORY) based on thematic symbolic art to improve Mufrodat Mastery in Madrasah Ibtida'iyah. Namely an electronic pocket dictionary in Arabic and English based on thematic symbols to improve mastery of Arabic vocabulary which is referred to from MI KMA's Arabic textbook No.189 of 2019.
