Abstract


Studies in the field of Arabic language education revealed that the weakness of Arabic skills that fall in Indonesian students is one of the reasons for their lack of mastery of knowledge of language elements from a pre-school age, the first of which is sounds. The first primary school of Al-Qubaa taught the sounds of the sons. This research aims to know and describe how to teach sounds to non-Arabic speaking beginners in this school. The method used is the qualitative method in the descriptive-analytical study. The data was collected through observation and interviews with the principal, the teacher, the parents, and the first-grade student. One of the results of this research is that the teaching of sounds in Quba primary school uses the traditional method of Pesantren, which is Sorogan and Bandungan. And the delivery of the model of receiving and repeating with the gradual system: recognition, excellence, and training.
