STUDENTS PERCEPTION TOWARD USING AI TECHNOLOGY IN THE ARABIC WRITING PROCESS
Abstract
Technology is growing in this digital age, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) is inevitable for its use in the writing process of writing of Arabic language students. The aim of this article is to know about the perceptions of students regarding the application of AI in the Arabic writing process. The approach used is quantitative and qualitative; student perception data is analyzed quantitatively, then reinforced by interviews with several students to know the process of use as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the use of AI as a whole. The results of this study showed that students who perceive a neutral Arabic education tend to be positive about using AI. Although they are aware of the benefits offered, they still doubt the accuracy of the translation. It's evident in the process they've discovered that there's a stage of checking or re-reading their writings.
