Project-Based Arabic Language Learning Through Creative Writing In Improving The Maharah Kitabah In Class Viii Bilingual Mts 2 Nurul Islam Mojokerto

Abstract


Project-based Arabic language learning in the form of creative writing is a learning method designed to improve students' maharah kitabah (writing skills). This method places students as the center of learning directly in a series of projects in the learning process which includes the planning, writing, revision, and presentation stages of the work. This can enrich students' understanding of the linguistic structure of the Arabic language because it encourages students to think critically and creatively, expand their vocabulary, and understand the application of Arabic grammar rules in a broader and more meaningful context. Qualitative research methods were used, such as interviews, observation, and assessment of written work for 37 students. This research shows an increase in students' ability to memorize the Bible in terms of quality and complexity, increasing confidence in expressing ideas in Arabic, and increasing students' motivation and interest in learning Arabic, because it provides space for students to be creative and experiment with Arabic. So, this method can be an alternative to learning Maharah Kitabah at various levels of education, according to the needs and characteristics of students.
