Abstract


Abstract

Technology has influenced various aspects of human life, contributed to the quality assurance in the field of education, health, economy and etc., and facilitated the endorsement of the social well-being. In the educational sector, the technology is recognized for its ability to assist the teachers and learners in transferring and processing knowledge and data, improving the educational process, and achieving the goals of modern education. This was accompanied by the application of new patterns of digital technology in education, through virtual class rooms and e-learning. Rationalizing human and material resources, developing educational and digital learning environments, and linking goals of education with the local economy, to contribute to community service and well-being of its stakeholders are considered key factors of higher education planning. This study intends to examine the impact of digital technology on developing the skills for teaching and learning process. The study was conducted using secondary data, reviewing the literature on the role of digital technology in teaching and learning process. The study observed that the digital technology helps in linking educational development with economic development and the development and digitization of curricula, and the application of various e-learning methods and training of teachers on the latest digital technologies contribute to improving educational outcomes.

أثرت التكنولوجيا الرقمية على جوانب مختلفة في حياة الإنسان وساهمت في ضمان الجودة في المجالات التعليمية والصحية والاقتصادية وغيرها، وسهلت دعم الرفاهية الاجتماعية، وفي القطاع التربوي تُعرف التكنولوجيا بقدرتها على مساعدة المعلمين والمتعلمين في نقل ومعالجة المعرفة والبيانات وتحسين العملية التعليمية وتحقيق أهداف التعليم الحديث، ورافق ذلك تطبيق أنماط جديدة من التكنولوجيا الرقمية في التعليم وذلك من خلال الصفوف الافتراضية والتعليم الإلكتروني، ويعتبر ترشيد الموارد البشرية والمادية وتطوير بيئات التعليم والتعلم الرقمي، وربط أهداف التربية بالاقتصاد المحلي  للمساهمة في خدمة المجتمع وتنميته وتحقيق رفاهية أفراده ، من العوامل الرئيسية في تخطيط التعليم العالي. سعت الدراسة إلى البحث عن تأثير التكنولوجيا الرقمية على تطوير مهارات عملية التدريس والتعلم ، وأجريت الدراسة باستخدام البيانات الثانوية ومراجعة الأدبيات حول دور التكنولوجيا الرقمية في عملية التدريس والتعلم ، لاحظت الدراسة أن تكنولوجيا التعليم الرقمية تساعد على ربط التنمية التربوية بالتنمية الاقتصادية، وأنه قد ساهم في تطويرالمناهج ورقمنتها وتطبيق مختلف أساليب التعلم الإلكتروني وتأهيل المعلمين على أحدث التقنيات الرقمية في تحسين النتائج التعليمية.
